Data cleansing

The means by which these data are transferred must be validated or a 100% verification of the data must be performed. Data transfer may not be as simple as copying data from one database to another as there may well be different data fields or different field formats between the two systems. Data cleansing and archiving might also be necessary.

Different data cleansing, normalization, and curation rules may be developed and enforced to the generic data repository and the specific data repositories. Derived data, such as data-mining outcomes, query results or search results that are frequently requested and can be written back into the specific data repositories. This is to enable the derived data to be used as input for processing or to be used in lieu of materialized query tables in the future, and also to enable the derived data to be shared among other systems in a specific region or in a specific domain. 

Utilising the usual levels of anti-microbials for cleansing products with normal user instructions of three minutes or longer contact time can achieve positive claims of anti-bacterial for Myavert C based enzyme preservation system without the stinging associated with alcohol. With the first in silico model, we were able to use the biochemical network of P.falciparumto deduce its drug resistance mechanism(s) using two sets of gene expression data obtained from treatment of the parasite with chloroquine and tetracycline. Our work is the first to develop and apply computational means toward the elucidation of these mechanisms in P. falciparum. Our work suggests viable mechanisms for the resistance of the malaria parasite to chloroquine and tetracycline. When these results are experimentally tested they may provide useful weapons to efficiently cleanse malaria parasites from the blood stream. 

Exploratory data analysis (EDA). This analysis, also called pretreatment of data , is essential to avoid wrong or obvious conclusions. The EDA objective is to obtain the maximum useful information from each piece of chemico-physical data because the perception and experience of a researcher cannot be sufficient to single out all the significant information. This step comprises descriptive univariate statistical algorithms (e.g. mean, normality assumption, skewness, kurtosis, variance, coefficient of variation), detection of outliers, cleansing of data matrix, measures of the analytical method quality (e.g. precision, sensibility, robustness, uncertainty, traceability) (Eurachem, 1998) and the use of basic algorithms such as box-and-whisker, stem-and-leaf, etc. 

So from a simple mass transport point of view, hair is less susceptible to contamination by exogenous mechanisms than urine by endogenous mechanisms. But then hair, but not urine, is cleansed by normal hygienic practices and by special laboratory wash procedures. The latter are further strengthened by special kinetic analysis of the wash data. And, finally, the deposition of exogenous drugs onto hair, unlike their accumulation in urine, is not associated with the formation of metabolites.

Therefore, a hybrid approach may be effective for consolidating relevant reference data through online and automated retrieval of reference data from various sources, cleansing and filtering to select current and relevant data, and consolidating into a local repository based on an optimized data model that is enabled for local annotation capability. The hybrid approach essentially involves an architecture that will automatically create and maintain a buffered dedicated reference database for use by an individual or a focused group of researchers concerned with a specific domain of knowledge.
