Each parametric modeling software program accomplishes the product assembly with a slightly different procedure. However, the fundamental process is to open an assembly file (Standard.iam in the case of Autodesk Inventor) to create the assembled model. An advanced approach to assembly modeling is its full integration with part modeling. Creating physical models can be time-consuming and provide limited evaluation.
