Corel Draw

A line-art figure is drawn in an application such as Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, or Corel Draw and exported as an EPS or a TIFF file. [Pg.351]

The direct-printing process does not require any sophisticated instrumentation. Basically, two pieces of equipment are required as fundamental tools a computer equipped with graphic software (e.g., Corel Draw, AutoCad, Macromedia FreeHand, or Microsoft Power Point) and a laser printer (although different brands provide different results as will be discussed later). Accessories such as an office laminator, a heating press (T-shirt transfer machine), and a paper driller represent the low-cost tools we have used. Finally, polyester films (transparency films or overhead projector films), wax paper sheets, a commercially available toner cartridge, microscope slides (glass) and CDs are the consumables, since they are used to produce microchips, microelectrodes, and integrated systems at very low cost. [Pg.1173]

The illustrations in this book were generated with Corel DRAW and Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio courtesy of the Corel and Microsoft Corporations respectively. [Pg.14]

Native electrophoresis of pepsin and hemoglobin on 10% polyacrylamide gel carried out at 48 °C during 90 min, according to the Laemmli procedure, at pH 8.3 (Laemly 1970). Water solutions of all samples of enzyme (pepsin dissolved in water to final concentration of 2 mg/mL) were titrated with HCl to pH 2 and incubated at 37 °C, with addition of different concentrations of Al + ion (1, 5 and 10 mM). The samples were diluted with sample buffer in ratio 1 1 (v/ v) and applied on gel in volume of 20 pL. Visualization was performed with Commassie Brilliant Blue G-250 dye. The gels scanned and processed using Corel Draw 11.0 software package. Quantification of electrophoretic mobility of the molecule is carried out via Rs value, where it is defined by ... [Pg.284]

Use tools required for system layout and design, such as (1) system layout VPE, PDMS CATIA etc (2) core prediction codes, eg, SCALE (3) core and system thermohydraulic codes like ANSYS-CFX, RELAP, and CATHARE etc (4) drawing tools like AutoCAD, CATIA, Corel Designer and (5) documentation tools. [Pg.280]
