It has also been suggested that terlipressin has vasoconstrictor activity within the splanchnic vascular territory (21). Hypotension developed under general anesthesia in 32 patients undergoing carotid endarterectomy treated with renin-angiotensin inhibitors (22). They were randomized to received terlipressin 1 mg (n = 16) or noradrenaline infusion. Compared with baseline those who received terlipressin had reduced gastric mucosal perfusion for at least 4 hours. There was also reduced oxygen delivery and oxygen consumption index at 30 minutes and 4 hours in those who received terlipressin. 

Exergy consumption of resources that are renewable should also be considered. Sometimes, for a byproduct we may have 17 > 1, if the exergy of the product is greater than the exergy of the substituted product of a certain process. It would not be useful to calculate 77 for certain products, such as cars and airplanes, because their usefulness results mainly from their system features, not from the chemical composition of their components. However, the calculation of r may be beneficial for all kinds of products, because the values of r can be used to compare various design variables and production technologies. 

During the 60 day test, no significant effects were observed on the body weight and food consumption index, yet roaches feeding on biscuits which had been soaked in a 0.05Z solution of canavanine produced fewer ootheca and reduced numbers eggs/obethca as compared to roaches fed untreated biscuits. The time of hatch was extended 2 weeks and the percent hatch was only 17Z that of the control.

Precision data on the method was not available.
