The Search Room is smoothly and efficiently run by a group of conscientious employees, whose first concern is to see that operations proceed so that information in the patents becomes readily available to the public. They are courteous and helpful in answering questions, and the answers are reliable and likely to save the searcher much time and effort. But, in view of their duties and responsibilities to the public, they cannot be expected to spend undue time and effort in solving all the problems peculiar to an individual search. 

In addition to being a conscientious employee, drivers need to be reminded that these inspections are a matter of law. They should not be taken lightly.

I have only seen this once, but it certainly is worth exploring if you have the right employees and correct safety culture. It could be honed to a very useful tool. The case I m familiar with involved a dedicated process operator who worked within the cell room of a chlorine manufacturing plant. This conscientious employee was effective in everything he did. However, some years ago, as required for a brief correction, he cut the feed brine flow to an electrolyzer cell. As I recall the story, he got busy and failed to restore the feed brine. The protective instramentation was limited and the electrical current heated the cell contents. An expensive explosion occurred but fortunately no one was injured because this employee was disciplined. 

When you assign responsibilities to a role, it is essential that you delegate the necessary authority and/or commit sufficient resources to back those responsibilities. A conscientious employee can become demoralized when given an assignment without the necessary means to carry it out (Managing worker safety and health, n.d.). 

The maintenance of this vast collection in proper order is the responsibility of a surprisingly small number of Patent Office employees. They perform their duties well, conscientiously, and swiftly. It is also fitting to acknowledge the courtesy and cooperation with which these fine workers respond to requests for information.

The hospital employees may be more health conscious and conscientious in taking medications than others. They may also be more effective at managing their surroundings to prevent attacks. 

Employee morale. An organization that tolerates substance abusers runs the risk of losing conscientious and hardworking staff. Over time, the best workers will tire of working harder while substance abusers produce less and enjoy more time off. An estimated 3.1 percent of employed adults admit they ve used illicit drugs before reporting to work and 7.1 percent say they drank on the job one or more times in the past year, according to sources cited by the US Department of Labor. 

Conscientiousness leads to effective attention to detail and an orderly process of implementing tasks that mitigate safety hazards for patients and employees.
