On further testing, a specimen of urine showed a normal colour and the patient did not appear to be jaundiced. In addition, a CT (computerized tomography) scan showed that her liver and bile duct were normal, and she had no history of stomach (peptic) ulcers.

Q.3.4 In modern MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) and SPECT (single photon emission computerized tomography) scans, the instruments measure the amount of blood flowing to a specific area of the brain (SPECT) or the amount of oxygen extracted from blood (the BOLD signal in functional MRI) in order to assess the intellectual use of that part of the brain.

X-RAY SCAN AND OTHER MEDICAL IMAGERY. Introduction of computerized axial tomography in the form of the X-ray cat scanner (CAT) was a major event in the history of diagnostic medicine. The technology is also referred simply as computerized tomography (CT). 

The acceleration is a direct measure to the dynamic factors. However, there are few reports, if not to say none, about that for meso-scale structures. In a recent attempt, Meng et al. (2009) made use of the multiple sensors of an X-ray computerized tomography (CT) to measure the cluster accelerations. Instead of the conventional use of CT for cross-sectionally scanning the solids distribution, they erected the X-ray fan-beam and the sensors to follow the vertical movement of clusters...

There is CT, for computerized tomography, a wedding of x-ray and the computer that scans a portion of, say, the brain by revolving an x-ray tube around the head, converting the pictures into a digital computer code to make high-resolution, three-dimensional video images accurate to. 9 millimeter. Differences in tissue density, between abnormal and normal tissue, are revealed fine details of bone structure appear clearly the location of tumors is pinpointed.

Computerized tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans of the brain and orbit will provide structural information, especially for patients with ophthalmoplegia. 

The client has not had a computerized axial tomography scan done. 

Computerized tomography A method of determining X-ray absorption in a series of scanned slides by the use of a narrow X-ray beam. Different sections of a sample are scanned by a rotating X-ray beam allowing complete characterization of X-ray absorption and, by calibration, density.

First, a 3D stmcture is designed using CAD software. Data obtained from computerized tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) medical scans can be used to create a customized CAD model. This CAD model is then expressed in a series of cross-sectional layers. The complex scaffold architecture must be built using layer-by-layer (LBL) manufacturing processes known collectively as solid free-form fabrication (SFF).
