Sends the plot as a vector-oriented metafile to the MS-WINDOWS clipboard from where it can be transferred into any other MS-WINDOWS program. The plot area of the output is taken from the currently displayed area in the Spectrum window. Parameter lists and the title cannot be transferred using this method. They can be copied by transferring the output, including the title and lists, first into the Preview window, from where it may be copied to the MS-WINDOWS clipboard using the Copy option in the Edit pull-down menu in the Preview window menu bar. [Pg.124]

With the Copy command a copy of the screen contents is stored in the MS-WINDOWS clipboard. If you have more than one window on the screen, the window to be copied may be specified using the mouse. If all windows should be copied into the clipboard use the Copy all command. The Copy options are used to transfer 2D layouts into the Preview window of ID WIN-NMR (see 4.10.5). [Pg.141]

A block of cells can be selected by moving the cursor to the upper left cell of the block and then moving it to the opposite corner of the block while holding down the left mouse button ( dragging the cursor). You can also drag the cursor in the opposite direction. To overcome these problems in the IT world, the industry has developed a component object model (COM) which basically defines what an object is and how it should relate to other objects. COM therefore allows software from different manufacturers to work together and is one of the things that makes such everyday functions such as "drag and drop" so easy to use. The MCQ can be administered using paper and pencil forms or using a computerized version. Advantages to the paper and pencil method are that it requires no equipment other than the form, a pencil, and perhaps a clipboard however, it will have to be scored by hand, which introduces the possibility of human error. A computerized version presents the MCQ items one at a time, and participants respond using the mouse or keyboard to move a cursor to indicate their response. Repeated administration of the MCQ should continue for sufficient time to observe a complete time course. Any type of watch can be used to identiiy the predetermined times of observations. Computers can also be used to determine the schedule of daily observations.
