The aim of the evolution view is to represent the behavior of the system using the behavior of its funetions. FIS gives the possibility to add to each function several behavior modes (see Fig. 3). Each behavior mode is defined by consumed resources needed for the function execution (resources selected from the declared input resources of the function (see paragraph 2.1), produced resources created of the function execution (resources selected from the declared output resources of the function (see paragraph 2.1), duration the amount of time needed for the function to transform consumed resources to produced resources, filtering conditions used to select consumed resources, input and output actions that are applied respectively to consumed and produced resources. [Pg.2114]
