Accurate recording of experimental details prior to, during and after the practical work is an essential feature of all practical science. This chapter has attempted to capture the essential information that needs to be recorded at the same time as the practical work is being undertaken. While perhaps not totally comprehensive, it does offer the ability to be adapted to fit individual needs. In addition, a selected resource list is included to assist the reader. 

Nevertheless, renewable resources may provide promising chances in the future. Taking the whole process chain into consideration, renewables can make substantial contributions to climate protection. The products can be made and used locally. A wide product platform can be offered and the natural product origin leads to a positive image. Particularly bio-based products usually show high biodegradability and biocompatibility. For selected resources, the synthetic pathway in plants is superior to chemical synthesis. 

A process schedule making use of the selected resources to achieve the new required level of production (that is, timing of all tasks, storage policies, batch sizes, amounts transferred and allocation of tasks to equipment)...
