Behavior-Modification Strategies

Therapy must address the drug habit before a client with a drug problem can change the behavior. Habit implies a pattern of behavior that may be rote and automatic. Your role as a counselor or therapist is to increase clients awareness

With the exceptions of methadone maintenance, LAAM maintenance, and nicotine substitution therapy (and probably naltrexone for alcohol addiction and bupropion for nicotine addiction), no clearly effective pharmacotherapy for drug addiction exists. Certainly, no broadly effective pharmacotherapy exists (effective for addictions to drugs of different chemical classes and pharmacological categories). Therapeutic strategies based on psychotherapy, group therapy, behavior modification, economic incentives, and aversion deconditioning have proven limited. 

As companies answer these questions and build their supply chain strategies, it is time to look forward. We can learn from history, but need to forge the path forward to drive differentiation. Before we can run the race, we must train. This training requires behavioral modification in three areas building supply chain agility, learning how to listen and learn, and valuing process innovation. 

Although, the heat resistance of NBR is directly related to the increase in acrylonitrile content (ACN) of the elastomer, the presence of double bond in the polymer backbone makes it susceptible to heat, ozone, and light. Therefore, several strategies have been adopted to modify the nitrile rubber by physical and chemical methods in order to improve its properties and degradation behavior. The physical modification involves the mechanical blending of NBR with other polymers or chemical ingredients to achieve the desired set of properties. The chemical modifications, on the other hand, include chemical reactions, which impart structural changes in the polymer chain.
