Results Collection and Decision. With the help of software the integral results obtained within different technical departments are collected. Most flavourings are complex mixtures of many compounds. As IRMS makes only sense with pure analytes, a strict purification of individual substances is indispensable. Because design almost always involves tradeoffs with respect to achieving multiple objectives, the designers may have good reasons not to select the most effective way to control the hazard but one of the other alternatives instead.
