Accessibility index

Index Chemicus (G4) is a more comprehensive and accessible index of new compounds for which analytical data and molecular formulas are available. The publication summarizes this type of information from over 200 key journals, usually within 45 days of the original publication date. Several other instrumental data are usually given, in addition to an abstract of the paper. Some indication of the scope is given by the cumulative index for 1960-1967, which listed some 850,000 new compounds. In 1968 alone, about 165,000 new compounds were described. 

The library also issues lists to announce its accessions in certain fields, including science and technology. These include New Serial Titles, which is available from the Card Division, Library of Congress, Washington 25, D.C., at 55 a year for monthly issues and a cumulative annual volume Monthly Index of Russian Accessions, which is available from GPO at 12 per year and East Euro-pean Accession Index, which is also available from GPO at 10 a year.

The proof for the improvement of this situation when other structural indices are added into correlation has been recently given by Tarko and Putz, showing that the best correlation was obtained either when higher orders of CFD electronegativity and chemical hardness schemes are considered together or when chemical hardness is accompanied by the index of maximum aromaticity of aromatic chemical bonds and by the total accessibility index weighted by atomic masses (Tarko Putz, 2010). 

The accession index file contains the accession number for a given structural formula and a table of sample index records for each accession number. This sequence provides quick access to data for all samples of a peirticular chemical.

Thus the hash code is not used as a direct way to access data rather it serves as an index or key to the filed data entry (Figure 2-66). Since hash coding receives unique codes by reducing multidimensional data to only one dimension, information gets lo.st. These subjects have been reviewed up the year 1975 in various works. Prij s Card Index (363) of thiazole compounds provides swift access to information on individual compounds. Syntheses of thiazoles have been carefully reviewed by Wiley etal. (361), and in 1957 the subject was dealt with in an excellent survey by Sprague and Land (448).

These contain most of the dyes and intermediates on chemistry and technology, but in general are more difficult to access than books and journals. Dyes are classified under Section E2 of Derwents Wodd Patents Index Classification. 

In order to adapt that expression to the problem at hand, we note that interaction matrix elements for shaking and breathing modes are different. Namely, the matrix element AfiV, symmetry index (A or E), is very small for even I + I, while the cosine matrix element, M - = is minor for odd I + I [Wurger 1989]. At low temperatures, when only / = / is accessible, the shaking...
