Worksheet names, changing

For the MHI study, three appraisers were given 20 sample resumes as part of a larger group. A week later the 20 samples, with only the applicant names changed, were mixed into another group. The appraisal results were recorded in a standard Attribute MSA worksheet (Exhibit 47.1). 

We can insert parts of Mathcad worksheet itself into the picture freezing (button < PrintScreen>) it and transferring the freezing to graphic application. This way, for instance, we can transfer names of some variables from Mathcad worksheet without changing their fonts and other attributes. 

The values marked in bold have to be changed according to the current data range. If data has been pasted into table 1 replacing the test data, the name of the worksheet needs no further modification. If the. csv file has been opened directly, the name of the current worksheet has to be entered in the macro. 

Changes (a) - (d) are then made. Finally, the worksheet is saved in the Chapter 16 file with an appropriate name, e.g. Table N. 1. 

If you edit a source worksheet, the cell references in the dependent worksheet will be updated, provided the dependent worksheet is open. The same is true if you change the name of a source document or move it to a different directory. If you rename or move a source document while the dependent document is closed, references will not be updated and you ll get a "Can t find document" message, and will have to re-establish the links between the documents. 

Click the R-Prod stream of PFD. Worksheet of the outlet stream will pop up. Change the name of the Reactor effluent stream to R-Prodl. 

To name a worksheet, double-click the sheet tab to be named, type the desired name, and hit the enter key. bu can use the Edit or the Insert menu to delete or insert a worksheet. You can move (or change the position of) a worksheet in the workbook by selecting the sheet tab and while holding down the left button on the mouse move the tab to the desired position among other sheets. 

We chose the second solution and implemented it in the form of annotation tables. From the user s perspective, an annotation table is simply a table of rows and columns that reflects the data stored in an associated Excel worksheet or a file. An annotation table normally contains a registry number column that is used to link the table to the rest of the database and a set of additional columns in the source file that define the data of interest. To create an annotation table, the user simply supplies the name of the file, a project that it should be hnked to, and a data security setting to Mobius. The file is then imported into a set of Oracle tables that hold annotation table data where it is then available for use on par with the other available data sources. Mobius can check for changes to the source file and update the table in Oracle whenever the source file changes if desired. Additionally, annotation table data can be... 

Of course, there were not any toolbars with button = (see Figs. 6.1 and 6.8) in DOS-versions (non-graphic) of Mathcad. Up-to-date Windows versions of Mathcad get as an atavism functional keys < >, < >, < > and others from DOS-versions which introduce to Mathcad worksheet plots ( ), integrals ( ), sum ( ) and others (see Fig. 6.47). These keys can be disabled by keystroke < Shift> -l- -i- that change the cursor color from blue into red (emergency state) and vice versa. When the cursor is red one can enter reserved characters noted before and some other into the variable and function name (see Sect. 6.2.2). 

In Mathcad Prime, a user can enter special symbols into a variable name in such a way. At first, enter a variable, for example, amount of substance, mole, as shown in Fig. 6.48. Then insert the variable into a Text Box where it will be noted as LABLE Unit mole. This notation requires correction entering/L in the end of the note. After that, insert the changed notation into the worksheet as the name of the variable mole/L. 

The first two operators in Fig. 6.53 insert the user functimi named + into a worksheet duplicating the built-in addition operator. We cannot change the style.
