Dairy wastes fall into two categories, one of which may be described as an intrinsic waste, and the other as a conditional waste. All dairy factories experience losses that are intrinsically a part of factory operation. For example, a dairy factory that receives 10,000 lb of milk daily may produce each working day about 1250 gal of waste with a milk solids concentration of 0.1 %. The objective of this study was to generate a simple, editable, SSF black-box model template which could predict ethanol and glycerol production based on initial food waste conditions. With increased datasets and more advanced mathematical functions, these models and their predictive ability will continue to improve. Facilities for waste conditioning and storage are to be licensed as parts of a total RWM system. Basic requirements relate to the safety of workers and the public. However, another basic requirement is that the waste must be treated, conditioned and handled in a way that makes it suitable for further conditioning, handling, transport and disposal. 

For waste conditioning, a suitable matrix material, if any, and a suitable container should be used. The container should be properly fiUed, closed and labelled in order to produce a waste package suitable for handling, transport, storage and disposal. 

Kwashiorkor—Infants fed low-protein, starchy foods such as bananas, yams, and cassava after weaning may develop kwashiorkor. This imbalanced diet, which has a subnormal protein-to-calorie ratio for infants, prevents some of the adaptive mechanisms of the body from operating the way that they do in the case of starvation or marasmus—a wasting condition due to lack of food.
