This video library provides a clear explanation of the function of process equipment, and explains how to optimize operations and identify malfunctions. It is intended for process engineers as a source of reference and for experienced operating personnel as advanced training. Personnel at all levels can use this library to improve process operations. Because the spatial area with higher temperature on the catalyst surface of one of the samples of the library is very small the detection of catalytic activities through temperature measurement cannot be carried out by direct temperature measurements but only by non-contact methods such as pyrometry or IRT. The IR video camera used here measures the emission at every point of the library in parallel. The detector consists of a 256x256 pixel array of Pt-silicide-IR-sensors. Each pixel delivers a voltage-signal that depends on the infrared radiation and the sensitivity of that pixel (fixed pattern noise).

Some printed indexes, in contrast, may be revised and published only once a year. However, if electronic databases are not accessible, you can always turn to the print versions available at your library. The Centre organises science seminars, film video shows, popular lectures, exhibitions, sky-gazing through a telescope, etc. The Centre has a library, laboratories, science museum, workshop, science playground, mass media and A.V. facilities... 

Fortunately, in today s information age, there are a myriad of resources available such as online courses or video instruction. Other options to look into are found at your local library. Many libraries have resources available to support home learning as well as umbrella programs that can work well with the homeschooling curriculum. And, even though you may not be actively teaching the lesson, you are still the one making the choices about your child s education.
