The summer universities for women offer the unique chance to conduct and explore these development processes and practices. For example when women computer scientists work in software development projects on self-defined applications. As lecturers and students, their interactions and results are integrated in teaching and learning contexts, some experiences spread out in other classes or workplaces. In the near future, it is one of our objectives to tap the full potential of this summer university aspect. [Pg.289]

However, practical experiences during 14 years of summer universities in Bremen showed that the opposite turned out to be the case. Although a lot of well-known companies attended at the career fair, only a few participants visited the fair or even got in contact with the human resources representatives in 2010, for example.
