Transcendence, meaning

Product tampering may be a foreseeable possibility and manufacturers have a responsibility to protect consumers against such possible acts. If a product iu an adulterated form could harm a consumer, manufacturers have the responsibiUty of protecting the product and consumer against such acts, meaning the use of tamper-evident packaging transcends FDA regulations. 

It is a commonly held view that the scientific method of inquiry is, or at least ought to be, objective in the sense that it should transcend the personal value system of the researcher. The terms bad science, better science or best science are often used to connote the perceived degree of objectivity of a particular scientific activity

Further, trans science is a term which was coined to sort and label putative encroachments upon "objective science by issues that can be posed as scientific questions but cannot be answered by the available means of scientific experimentation(15). The term was introduced because it was thought that the division of technologically important issues into scientific and trans-scientific would significantly reduce the problems of converting data into useful iformation.

Just as some of us were never destined for trance, so some of us were not cut out for transcendence. What this means is that the zones of the state space that we can or can t enter are more or less accessible on an individual basis. And that individual basis—like long and short sleep, high and low energy, logical and analogical cognition—is both genetic-constitutional-trait bound, as well as environmental-cultural-state determined. 

This category refers to loss of the usual sense of time and space. This means clock time but may also be one s personal sense of his past, present, and future. Transcendence of space means that a person loses his usual orientation as to where he is during the experience in terms of the usual three-dimensional perception of his environment. Experiences of timelessness and spacelessness may also be described as experiences of "eternity" or "infinity."...
