Symbols case sensitivity

To choose the field to sort by (sometimes called a sortkey), choose the field name from the Sort By list box (Figure 6-2) or type a reference in the input box for example, to sort by atomic symbol, you can either choose symbol (field names are not case-sensitive) or enter B 3 in the Sort By input box. Then press OK. Figure 6-3 shows a portion of the list, sorted in ascending order according to column 1. If the list is not sorted as you want it, press the Undo button or choose Undo Sort from the Edit menu.

Algebra is a lot like arithmetic but deals with symbolic variables in addition to numbers. Very often these include x, y, and/or z, especially for unknown quantities, which is often your job to solve for. Earlier letters of the alphabet such d a,b,c... are often used for constants, quantities whose values are determined by assumed conditions before you solve a particular problem. Most Enghsh letters find use somewhere as either variables or constants. Remember that variables are case sensitive, so X designates a different quantity than X. As the number of mathematical symbols in a technical subject proliferate, the English (really Latin) alphabet becomes inadequate to name all the needed variables. For the reasons described, no specific test will be advanced here as being superior, but Huber s model and the classical one for z = 2 and z = 3 are incorporated into program HUBER the authors are of the opinion that the best recourse is to openly declare all values and do the analysis twice, once with the presumed outliers included, and once excluded from the statistical analysis in the latter case the excluded points should nonetheless be included in tables (in parentheses) and in graphs (different symbol). With the complexity of modern pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic models, analytical derivation of sensitivity indexes is rarely possible because rarely can these models be expressed as an equation. More often these models are written as a matrix of derivatives and the solution to finding the sensitivity index for these models requires a software package that can do symbolic differentiation of the Jacobian matrix. Hence, the current methodology for sensitivity analysis of complex models is empirical and done by systematically varying the model parameters one at a time and observing how the model outputs change. While easy to do, this approach cannot handle the case where there are interactions between model parameters. For example, two... 

For ARRs in closed symbolic form, parameter sensitivities of ARR residuals can be obtained by symbolic differentiation. In case an explicit formulation of ARRs is not achievable, e.g. due to nonlinear algebraic loops, parameter sensitivities of ARR residuals can be numerically computed by using a sensitivity bond graph, in which bonds carry sensitivities of power variables [12-14], or by using incremental bond graphs, in which bonds carry variations of power variables [5]. Many users prefer the log-in and password process be modified for sensitive and/or small keyboard data entry. Users often have problems knowing if the password code was entered correctly. To remedy this situation, password characters should be made visible for a few seconds, so that the user can verify that the correct letter, number, or symbol was entered, and then be masked with asterisks. Moreover, for applications that require a secure log-in, a visible log-out option needs to be implemented. In the case of healthcare mobile apps, this is especially relevant as healthcare providers need to a way to make sure that improper access to patient information does not happen. Further, a system time-out policy should be determined and implemented. When there is no activity after a period of time, the system should automatically log out the user and close the app.
