One Mossbauer spectrum consists of 512 velocity channels (3 bytes per channel). One temperature interval consists of five Mossbauer spectra (one for each detector). There are 13 temperature intervals with selectable width. Thus, MIMOS II can accumulate simultaneously up to 65 Mossbauer spectra during one experiment session on Mars. All Mossbauer, energy, engineering, and temperature data taken during this session are stored in a volatile SRAM (Static Random Access... [Pg.65]

To minimize the risk of data loss because of power failure or other reasons, the Mossbauer data are copied to a nonvolatile EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) every 9 minutes (software selectable). As the size of the EEPROM is smaller than the SRAM, the EEPROM can accumulate only up to ten Mossbauer spectra as a subset of the data from the SRAM. These spectra are obtained from the SRAM according to a pre-defined summation strategy. [Pg.66]

In 1999, Clennan and Sram reported a study of the photo-oxidations of a series of tetrasubstituted alkenes (Fig. 5) in methylene blue-doped zeolite Y [11], The ene regiochemistries are very sensitive to the size of the allylic substituent, R, in solution. The A/B ratio increases from 0.49 to 2.4 as the substituent, R, is changed from methyl to ferr-butyl. This phenomenon has been attributed [12] to a sterically induced lengthening of the carbon-2 oxygen bond in the perepoxide intermediate I and subsequent preferred opening of this long bond (Fig. 5). [Pg.279]

It was reported in an abstract that there was no evidence for an increased frequency of chromosomal aberrations in peripheral lymphocytes of a group of workers exposed to dimethylformamide [details not given] (Sram et al., 1985). [Pg.555]

Early toxicokinetic studies were summarized by Sram et al. (1981). In rats, epichlorohydrin is rapidly absorbed via oral or inhalation routes and practically all of the compound is eliminated via urine as metabolites or via lungs as CO2. [Pg.608]

Chromosomal aberrations were observed in three studies of lymphocytes of workers occupationally exposed to concentrations of epichlorohydrin ranging from 0.5 to 5.0 mg/m- (Kuoerova et al., 9n-, Sram et al., 1980) and in one other study in which epichlorohydrin concentrations were not given (Picciano, 1979). [Pg.611]
