Spectra Sn Mossbauer

T<155) " Sn Mossbauer spectra of Sn[N(SiMe3)2]2, Sn[NCH2CH2]2 and [Sn(NMe2)(lt-NMe2)]2 have been recorded " those of Sn[(NPr )2CjijHg-l,8] (98 < T < 255) were used to study the Sn-ligand bond flexibility in this compound, which has an... [Pg.286]

The " Sn Mossbauer spectra of triethyltin compounds bound to high-affinity, protein sites indicate that the quadrupole splitting, AEq, is less than 2.3 mm sec (479, 491), which would be consistent with tetrahedral, RsSnX, tin-atom geometry, or a 5-coordinate, cis-RaSnX chelated structure. However, the trialkyItin-histidine complex, having a planar, RsSn unit, suggested earlier by Rose and Lock (485,... [Pg.43]

The ii Sn Mossbauer spectra of tin-capped complexes contain a singlet with nearly the same QS as that for the corresponding K2SnHale salts. This suggests that the capping tin atoms have an octahedral environment. The IS values increase in the cross-linking group order ... [Pg.232]

Figure 12.26 (a) Mossbauer spectra of SnO-NaP03 glasses (b) Deconvoluted " Sn MSssbauer spectra of 05 95 glass and (c) variation of fractions of Sn" and Sn as obtained from Sn Mossbauer spectra (After Bhat et al., 2001). [Pg.505]

Besides oxide supported Sn-Ru catalysts, carbon supported catalysts also find application in hydrogenation reactions. Sn Mossbauer spectroscopy was used to investigate the tin component of ruthenium and tin supported on activated carbon catalysts containing 2 wt. % ruthenium and having Sn/(Sn-f Ru) ratios between zero and 0.4. Four major components in the Sn Mossbauer spectra were attributed to both Sn(II) and Sn(IV) oxides and to Ru-SnOx species formed on the surface of ruthenium metal particles. In addition to this " Sn spectra reveal the presence of minor amounts of Ru3Sn7 alloy phase. ... [Pg.57]

Sn Mossbauer spectra of a number of the complexes were examined. Data are summarized in Table III together with relevant reports from the literature. There are essentially two types (a) the dialkylstannylene complexes such as R2SnCr(CO)s in which divalent tin is three-coordinate, and (b) dialkylstannylene insertion products into C-Hal, M-H, M-Cl, M-Me, or M-M bonds (M = a transition metal) in which tetravalent tin is four-coordinate. (SnR2)2 and Class (a) complexes are characterized by... [Pg.263]

Sn Mossbauer spectra have been recorded for a wide range of tri-chlorostannyl metal complexes, including Z[RuCl2(SnCl3)2] (Z = Me4N or... [Pg.347]

Fig. 17. Experimental and simulated " Sn Mossbauer spectra of YbZnSn (300 K) and YbAgSn (78 K). From Pottgen et al. (1999c). Fig. 17. Experimental and simulated " Sn Mossbauer spectra of YbZnSn (300 K) and YbAgSn (78 K). From Pottgen et al. (1999c).
By analogy with heat treatment in [24] Fig. 19 shows that the Sn Mossbauer spectra are well resolved singlet forms. It is possible to follow the evolution of the Sn(IV) for a composition with Si02 36 wt % and Sn02 64 wt % starting from gel sample at 120° C and after heat treatment at 500° and 1000°C to end with a glass to crystal transition [25]. [Pg.216]
