Test borings revealed that the fill material consists predominantly of thinly laminated silt with a relatively high clay content. Occasional discontinuous layers of fine sand were encountered at random locations, both horizontally and vertically. Among research documents on fracture rock mass, there is only a small number of slug test documents. Barke (1983) set up drills respectively in horizontal fracture and laminated rock fracture. Karasaki (1988) studied on well water head under different flow status and pointed out that heterogeneity and aeolotropy of fracture rocks was very obvious. Common slug test cannot evaluate the permeability coefficient and storage water... 

In order to perform researches on the single well slug test in horizontal fracture, an indoor horizontal fracture model is constructed. This model uses circular fracture aquifer system. First, a circular sink with a radius of 200 cm is built. Inside the sink, a cement cylinder base with a radius of 170 cm and height of 28 cm is constructed. 

To verify the accuracy of horizontal fracture transmissibility coefficient measured in the single slug test, the test result of slug test is usually compared to that of common pumping test result. Slug test uses pneumatic test mode, which is shown in Figure 6.

Single well slug test is a rapid test method to determine hydrogeological parameters on site based on the Continuity Equation of Water Elow, Mass Conservation Principle and Momentum Conservation Principle.

Under the same dimensionless inertia coefficient, the results of the two groups of air pressure slug test match each other well. This shows that slug test is reliable and steady. 

When dimensionless inertia coefficient P equals tolO the test result of the air pressure slug test corresponds really nicely with the result we get in the pumping test. Therefore, during the calculation process in the test, the value of P may not be 10", we should select the appropriate dimensionless inertia coefficient according to the status of fracture aquifer systems. 

From the analysis of test results, we can see that the horizontal fracture transmissibility coefficient can be figured out by the slug test, the accuracy of which is high. This lays a theoretical...
