Service reports - meaning

Publication of the results of scientific work, conducted to generate or implement the ideas developed, will normally take place through research reports, technical service reports for specific customers, and appropriate articles in scientific and trade journals. By this means, the individual and his Industry Group become recognized for their contributions and professional accomplishments within the company and the company becomes established as a contributor to the technology of the industries it wishes to cultivate as customers. 

While you may not service your products, others may well do so and the standard requires that you collect information generated by the servicing organizations and convey it to those who can use it to improve the product and the manufacturing processes. This means that you will need to establish liaison links with servicing organizations and enlist their support in reporting to you any concerns they have about the serviceability or maintainability of the product, the availability of spare parts, and the usability of the manuals and other information you have provided. 

The NERC GADS ten-year review report for 1971-1980 on equipment availability presents statistical data sets on the performance of major types of electrical power generating units. Muller and Schoneich (1992) also reported on favorable experience with intensive outpatient psychotherapy combined with antipsychotic drug treatment. The terms production site, factory and plant are in many cases used synonymously but in the context of chemical production networks they have a distinct meaning. A site/factory is the geographical location where production takes place. Within the site, one or more plants produce different kinds of products. Additionally, a chemical production site contains several infrastructure units. In contrast to other industries, site infrastructure does not only comprise services such as security, internal logistics, maintenance, canteens and site administration but also utility plants and waste treatment facilities (cf. Fig. 9). For the 50 sites operated by the industrial cooperation partner the share of total costs associated with site infrastructure was in line with industry averages of 15% to 20% as reported by Rasch (2006, p. 257). 

So what does this mean for pharmacy practice More pharmacists must understand continuous quality improvement and be able to develop, implement, and measure the outcomes of such a plan. This could provide an opportunity for a community pharmacy report card (quality measurement) system on which pharmacies can compete on the basis of quality. Such a system may provide a great opportunity for pharmacies to advertise quality outcomes to payers and patients. If such a system is successful, quality could drive patient choices and payer decisions. Ultimately the pharmacies with the highest quality may get more market share or obtain higher reimbursement rates for certain services. 

The last step in creating a service blueprint is to add evidence of service where appropriate. This means that tangible components are incorporated into the service. Such evidence can be used by patients to evaluate a service. For example, the written report for the medication review gives a patient something that helps him or her put a value on the service. Tangible evidence should have a natural fit with the service. 

Abstract Current developments in Germany for establishing a traceability system for chemical measurements are reported. The focus is on a dissemination mechanism which employs chemical calibration laboratories accredited within the framework of the German Calibration Service (DKD) and acting as multipliers between the national standards level and the user level by providing the user with calibration means which are traceable to the SI via national standards. At the national standards level, a network of high-level chemistry institutes coordinated by the national metrology institute, PTB, provides the primary references for chemical measurements.
