Geologic maps constitute a familiar class of models. To map a sedimentary section, a geologist collects data at certain outcrops. He casts his observations in terms of the local stratigraphy, which is itself a model that simplifies reality by allowing groups of sediments to be lumped together into formations. He then interpolates among his data points (and projects beneath them) to infer positions for formation contacts, faults, and so on across his field area.

Some green clay minerals occur as ovoids, probably having formed within fecal pellets or casts of forams. They also occur as films or stains on shells, sand grains, and phosphate nodules. They are finmd in highest density in sediments of the outer continental shelves and slopes where waters are shallow (20 to 700 m) and mildly suboxic. Slow sedimentation rates are necessary to prevent burial as green clays form at very slow rates. A notable example are the green muds found on the Blake Plateau. 

This syndrome is characterized by proteinuria >3.5 g/day, hypoalbuminuria <3 g/dl, hyperlip-idaemia with an elevation of serum cholesterol, edema and oval fat bodies and fatty casts in the urinary sediment. A variety of disorders may produce nephrotic syndrome but, in the majority of cases, no cause is found. It is appropriate to define the selection of studies from the history and physical examination. Tests to order are antinuclear antibody, rheumatoid factor, cryoglobulins, serum complement, HBsAg VDRL serology (syphilis), protein electrophoresis of the serum and urine and HIV. If the cause is unclear a renal biopsy is done to define the glomerular lesion as treatment may on the underlying glomerular lesion.

The A. marina bioassay is routinely used in the UK, but only in more saline conditions (Thain and Bifield, 2001). The survival of this polychaete in our study was hardly affected by the sediments tested during the study, but the number of casts produced varied considerably (Table 6). Significant effects with the above sediment in vivo bioassays used here have been demonstrated in other studies, not only in Dutch harbour sediments, but also marine and estuarine environments (Matthiessen et ah, 1998 Kater et al., 2001 Stronkhorst, et al., 2003b). 

This is suitable for the formulations in which the percentage of solid ingredients, suspended in liquid is to be increased. The advantage of density difference between the molten medium and suspended particles is used in this process. The concentration of heavier particles is increased in the lower part of the casing either by natural sedimentation or by forced sedimentation caused by vibrating the whole casting assembly. The sedimentation process is controlled by a number of parameters such as particle size of solid suspension, temperature of melt, period of sedimentation, viscosity of melt, concentration of solid ingredients and column of melt etc. 

Rheological properties are very important in mixing and processing the compositions. Thus sedimentation of suspended solid before curing ought to be negligible. Casting must be sufficiently fluid to allow the escape of gas-bubbles. It is necessary... 

These binders possess properties which are very important for ease of manufacture and for obtaining a uniform product. Thus they have low viscosity on casting without sedimentation of solids, have sufficient reactivity for complete low-temperature cure and evolve little heat on polymerization (e.g. much lower than heat of polymerization of methyl acrylate). 

The fold is complicated by trust fault as a result Neogene sediments impend from the north onto Paleological sediments of the Ninotsminda dome. That dome is believed to have a 2-storey construction. The tectonic of upper storey, which is mostly represented by Neogene sediments, does not correspond to Eocene sediments construction of lower storey. Wells under the thrust prove up cast debris, which is spread along north and south limbs of the Ninotsminda fold that configured horst construction of the whole fold.
