Employees are also involved in process and operations review, safety inspection, and quality teams. Upon arrival at the inspection site and before the commencement of the inspection, the inspection team shall be briefed by facility representatives, with the aid of maps and other documentation as appropriate, on the facility, the activities carried out there, safety measures and administrative and logistic arrangements necessary for the inspection. If inspectors consider that, to fulfil their mandate, particular operations should be carried out in a facility, they shall request the designated representative of the inspected facility to have them performed. When, despite a high level of safety measures, a risk remains, the inspected State Party shall inform the inspection team leader of the level of risk. [Pg.298]
