Rogers, William

The book Biochemical Individuality, authored by the late worldrenowned biochemist Roger Williams, Ph.D., first published in 1956, fulfills all of these characteristics. It is a book that should be on the bookshelf of all students and practitioners of modern molecular medicine. It is with great admiration and respect that I have the privilege of writing the introduction to the republication of this timeless work. [Pg.6]

Consultant groups run surveys for industrial organizations. Often these surveys are later made available to interested subscribers. The economic surveys of Arthur D. Little, Inc., Stanford Research Institute, Foster D. Snell, Roger Williams, and other consultants are noteworthy. [Pg.119]

Forty years ago, Dr. Roger Williams, a University of Texas biochemist, authored a book titled Biochemical Indwiduality, which brings an important principle to our attention. Each of us is unique, and our nutritional needs differ from person to person. The official standards—RDAs (recommended dietary allowances), RDIs (reference daily intakes), and DVs (daily... [Pg.127]

In broader terms, our concerns are about side effects the physical, chemical, and biological changes in body and mind that accompany diet and medication. Some of the side effects are benign others are adverse. And each individual will react differently, in accordance with a part of our distinctive biochanical makeup, a fact emphasized by the noted University of Texas biochemist Roger Williams in Free and Unequal. [Pg.17]

If biologieal responses vary from individual to individual, as per biochemist Roger Williams findings in Free and Unequal The Biological Basis of Individual Liberty, then it ean eertainly be expeeted that human responses are different from that of animal responses and viee versa. [Pg.279]
