Evaluation of the results Evaluation of the results consists of (i) technical scrutiny of the consistency and of the quality of the data the acceptance, on technical (not statistical) grounds, of data to be used to calculate the certified value and its uncertainty, (2) the calculation (using the appropriate statistical techniques) of the certified value and its uncertainty. The approach indudes technical discussion of the results among all cooperators, rejection of outliers, statistical evaluation, and calculation of the certified value and uncertainties. 

The inverses can be found with a table of transforms and the results evaluated numerically. 

There is an urgent need for SOCAR to conduct a risk analysis of its gas management responsibilities and, as a result, evaluate what it should spend on measures, including me use of storage, to mitigate me risks of reduced production. 

Whereas the criteria (i) enantioselectivity, (ii) amount of product obtained per amount of catalyst used, and (iv) substrate specificity are of a quantitative nature, the point (iii) availability (though not cost) of a catalyst is only a semi-quantita-tive criterion, and (v) comparison of a method with alternative strategies is even redundant, as the process of comparison of options and their resulting evaluation and ranking are merely different parts of the decision-making process, and are not undertaken in parallel with performance measurements along dimensions of merit. 

The most data-intensive approaches are those which evaluate the risk associated with a biomonitoring result. Figure 5-2 illustrates the various risk-based options discussed in the report.

The selection of an analytical technique and the development of procedures and operating conditions are only one part of the process for achieving reliable measurements. The observed almost universal value of the surface fractal dimension ds 2.6 of furnace blacks can be traced back to the conditions of disordered surface growth during carbon black processing. It compares very well to the results evaluated within the an-isotropic KPZ-model as well as numerical simulations of surface growth found for random deposition with surface relaxation. This is demonstrated in some detail in [18]. 

All epidemiological studies should be critically evaluated with respect to research design (especially in relation to study purposes), methods, analysis, and interpretation of results. Evaluation requires all aspects of the epidemiological method to be weighed carefully, as shown in Box 2-2. 

Printing inks and wood fillers also take advantage of light curing. A1(OI I)-, is the usual choice in this application. Materials were cured by a mercury lamp and results evaluated by differential photocalorimetry and UV-visible spectroscopy. The sample weight and amount of filler were the essential variables. Validation of models such as the second-order and multireaction model requires model parameters to be estimated independently. Such a validation should be carried out prior to model adoption for prediction of retention and mobility of heavy metals in soils. This validation is also necessary for the use of a model for different soils and for a wide range of conditions. This requirement is not always achieved because independent parameters are not often available, however. As a result, evaluation of a model is sometimes restricted to goodness of fit of the model results to experimental measurements.
