As noted above, sensitive and specific GC-MS/MS methods for the determination of 3-OH FAs and Mur have been developed. MS is an alternative to the classical LAL assay for determination of LPS, while no other regulated approach exists for PG assessment. These chemical methods are reproducible and provide quantitative, accurate determination of microbial biocontamination. At the present time mass spectrometric measurement of LPS and PG have matured sufficiently to be used for routine assessment of air quality. Numerous products of medical and environmental origin have been analyzed. However, use for assessment of pharmaceutical products remains limited. 

Without even trying to touch upon the peculiar world of psychoanalysis, there is one aspect in Freud s life-work, maybe the most important one from a physiological point of view, that seems to me to be unquestionably in accordance with the cortical enhancer regulation approach. 

A recent development in double-layer interaction theory, known as the surface-regulation approach (3i), also predicts interaction potentials that are intermediate in value. Data required for application of the regulation approach are not available.

Figure 3 shows the responsibilities of the various agencies involved in safety in Ontario. It designates the two main thrusts for construction safety. One thrust is the legislative, and the other is the self-regulative approach.
