Proposed Extensions

Shortly after the tetravalent nature of carbon was proposed, extensions to the Kekule-Couper theory were made w7hen the possibility of multiple bonding between atoms was suggested. Emil Erlenmeyer proposed a carbon-carbon triple bond for acetylene, and Alexander Crum Brown proposed a carbon-carbon double bond for ethylene. In 1865, Kekule provided another major advance when he suggested that carbon chains can double back on themselves to form rings of atoms. 

While the main driving force in [43, 44] was to avoid direct particle transfers, Escobedo and de Pablo [38] designed a pseudo-NPT method to avoid direct volume fluctuations which may be inefficient for polymeric systems, especially on lattices. Escobedo [45] extended the concept for bubble-point and dew-point calculations in a pseudo-Gibbs method and proposed extensions of the Gibbs-Duhem integration techniques for tracing coexistence lines in multicomponent systems [46]. 

The first reading of the proposed REACH Regulation by the European Parliament is scheduled for November 2005 at the earliest. The rapporteurs for the lead Environment and Industry Committees, Guido Sacconi and Lena Ek respectively, have proposed extensive amendments to REACH. Hartmut Nassauer, the rapporteur for the Internal Market and Consumer Committee, also responsible for the European Parliament s opinion on the REACH proposal, has issued a report suggesting extensive amendments, and in essence has suggested REACH is completely redrafted. The Internal Market and Consumer Committee vote has been postponed from 5 September 2005. 

Upgrading and refinery capacity While essentially all of the mined bitumen is upgraded in Alberta, the majority of in-situ production is shipped as bitumen blend with a light diluent to refineries in the United States that are suitably equipped to handle such feedstock. This historical split needs to be overcome in the future and further upgrading capacities will have to be installed in Canada, especially to reduce the need for diluents. In addition, the proposed extension of synthetic-crude-oil supply will require new refinery capacities, either in Canada or the United States. 

United States Food and Drug Administrations (FDA) declares tobacco cigarettes and cigars to be drug delivery devices and proposed extensive additional restrictions on sales and advertising to minors.

Figure 1 represents the basic principles of gas-solid impinging streams, and also its essential structure as originally designed. On the basis of the essential structure, various devices can be constructed by extending the idea of impinging streams. In this section, we present a simple model of attribute correspondences as a basis for the proposed extensions. The model is based on Marie and Gal [2008], We shall accompany the description with a specific simplified case study that will assist us in demonstrating the three extensions to the basic attribute correspondence model. The case study is about the design of a hotel reservation portal. The portal merges various hotel information databases, adding a mashup applications that assists in positioning hotels on a geographical map. 

The hardness of Mg(II) and Mn(II) ions (relative to Cu, Zn, Fe, Co, or Ni) prevents extensive donation of rr-electrons from ligands to metal within the metal complexes. Thus it is unlikely that the earlier proposed extensive delocalization of electrons could be the basis of catalysis in metal-dependent proteases. I propose that adopting the concept incorporating pre-job planning and safety reviews for nonroutine work within the culture of an organization would greatly reduce the risk of severe injury and fatality. Establishing the concept will be emphasized here, with the intent of not proposing extensive procedures and reports when that is not necessary for the particular nonroutine job to be undertaken.
