Project meetings, core

The third core connector is the synchronous communication, it connects activities whose execution requires communication between the actors involved (e.g., during project meetings). 

The project team should consist of a core team of representatives from the key project areas. This team should include IT to provide expertise on the EDMS and IT infrastructure, user groups to ensure the system meets their needs, and QA and Validation to assure quality. The project team should meet regularly to review quality practices and set up regular communication sessions with the wider user base to keep them aware of all facets of the project so that critical decisions can be made in a timely manner. 

Mosel and Shamp (1993) and Levin (1992) classify process variables into two core dimensions (1) task or project dimension, which consists of processes that are directly related to solving the assigned problem, such as use of QI tools, efficient planning of meetings, and solution generation and implementation, and (2) relationship or socioemotional dimension, which deals with the dynamics and relationships among team members, such as communication and harmony. Since team leadership impacts both task and relationship issues, we consider it separately as a third dimension of process variables. We discuss these three dimensions of process variables next. 

It is precisely this trust that is at the core of CCR s success. The trust has evolved as a result of the personal relationships that have developed through the years between our industrial and academic members who have worked together on our many projects. The wide spread mistrust that permeated the first meeting in Midland eleven years ago is being replaced by the trust factor. 

Each core team member is expected to have the whole picffire of PD. The project manager has to provide information transfer to team members with periodic core team meetings twice a week or once a day during specific project phases like... 

Scientific data is stored in the Extensible Data Format (XDF). XDF itself follows the philosophy of an incremental standardization. It is an XML-based data format, which provides some basic features (e.g. definition of physical units, n-dimensional data structures). XDF can be extended to meet the requirements of certain scientific fields. Different XDF-based standards are always compatible at the level of the basic XDF functionality. In this project, XDF has been chosen as the basis for numerical and experimental data. The DocBook-standard defines the structure for text documents, with bibliographic information in terms of Dublin Core.
