Program Results

The three parties that cooperated to create the framework for the HPV Challenge Program have each reviewed the results and have come to somewhat different conclusions. Just as they had viewed the data that gave rise to the program initially through different lenses, they have made their assessments of the results of the program through those different lenses. Maintenance. The lack of maintenance and investment in inspection programs results in not only poor housekeeping but unnoticed leaks due to corrosion, leaking flanges and valves, and inoperative instmmentation that could prevent spills.

As we went on with evidence of Farben s role in enslaving the people of Europe, we emphasized that this role was part and parcel of an over-all program resulting in the death of millions as a result of the aggressive war unleashed by Germany, in which Farben shared a major responsibility. This experience is usually passed on from older to younger workers over time. One of the major considerations of the research requested by JECFA was the safety aspects which was not surprising in view of the chemical complexity of the caramels. Caramel colorants were given a clean bill of health and JECFA assigned an ADI of 0-200 mg/kg/day. 

Computer program results for a representative compound are shown in Table 1-2. 

The P Program resulted in total cost productivity of 3.0 billion between September 1997 and September 2003, which was, in effect, money directly to the company s bottom line. However, cost productivity is not only important to improve the company s financial results. Continual cost productivity also puts the company in a good position to continue to grow, i.e. to gain market share, even when market conditions become difficult, such as with overcapacity and price erosion.
