TERIS is designed to assist in counseling pregnant women about possible developmental risks other forms of reproductive toxicity are not considered. In addition to brief critical reviews and references to the peer-reviewed literature, each TERIS summary contains an assessment of the risk of teratogenic effects in children of women with typical exposures during pregnancy. An evaluation of the quality of data available to determine the risk is also provided. 

Reproductive toxicity testing has no place in this item. Relevant data must be included in Use during pregnancy and lactation. The reader is to be referred in the preclinical safety data to this paragraph for this type of data. 

Ethnobotanical references indicate that white ash was traditionally used as an abortifacient (Moerman 1998 Rousseau 1947). No modern data were identified to support or refute this activity. Based on this information, use during pregnancy is not recommended except under the supervision of a qualified healthcare practitioner. 

Referring to data presented elsewhere by others, the authors claim the body does not rid itself of lead in waste, but rather stores a substantial proportion in soft tissues and ultimately in bone from which it may eventually be mobilized, as during pregnancy or in old age. (The authors have not designed their test to prove or disprove this point, but present it nevertheless as established fact.)...
