POLY-DIALLYL-PHTHALATE PDAP

Poly-Diallyl-Phthalate (PDAP) This was developed in 1941 as an unsaturated polyester obtained from diallyl phthalate, [Pg.186]

This is a thermosetting polymer, resembling phenols in its properties, but exhibiting high resistance to alkali and solvents, together with a retention of electrical properties vmder extreme conditions of heat and humidity. It is mostly used for electronics, coatings and laminates. [Pg.186]
