Thereafter, the evaluation of the planned barriers, such as technical, administrative, and organisational barriers need to be carried out. During this process the identification of the available/ planned barriers that controls or reduces the occupational hazards needs to be performed. Throughout this identification and evaluation process, the results from the assessment of the potential occupational hazards are compared against to the planned goals or objectives. This identification process will also help the user to differentiate the steel barriers (effective and reliable barriers) and paper barriers (less effective or reliable barriers) (Neogy et al., 1996). Moreover, the evaluation process can provide feedback which may be expected to modify the occupational hazards management plan and lead to redefinition of the main objectives. [Pg.1332]
