Sample preparation Mix 1 mL plasma with 50 p,L 100 ng/mL IS in MeOH, add 1 mL MeCN, vortex, centrifuge at RCF 834 for 5 min. Remove the upper layer and add it to 5 mL hexane, rotate for 20 min, centrifuge at RCF 834 for 5 min. Evaporate the organic layer to dryness under a stream of nitrogen at 25°, reconstitute the residue with 30 p,L MeCN 2 mM ammonium acetate 70 30, inject a 10 p,L aliquot.
