Organisations work groups

For standardised instrumental analytical methods, i.e. biomarkers, biosensors and bioassays, there are well-established standard protocols on the national level, e.g. under Association Francaise de Normalisation (AFNOR), British Standard Institute (BSI), DIN (German Organisation for Standardisation), etc., and all those standards are formed by ISO-Working Groups and by validation studies into ISO - and CEN - Standards. Normal accredited and well-qualified laboratories should be able to perform the monitoring. [Pg.407]

For the dissemination and the establishment of the ChL business model in different industries and different countries a clear definition of ChL is essential. As the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) plays a leading role in the development and implementation of ChL around the world, it was UNIDO that defined - together with an international working group -the term of Chemical Leasing (see Chapter 2). [Pg.22]

In R D departments, work groups are organised usually in a very similar way to that adopted by the company for its component businesses or functions, and to meet its strategic objectives. [Pg.84]

Most companies have set in place procedures to meet the requirements of the international quality standard e.g. ISO 9001 or national equivalents, as discussed in Section B, 3.2.23. The requirement of these standards are that procedures are in place for all activities carried out in the workplace, that these procedures are recorded and that the activities are carried out, by staff, as described in the procedures. The operation of these procedures is subject to an external audit, to confirm that there is compliance in the day-to-day activities of a work group. It should be noted that having procedures written down does not necessarily mean that an organisation has the best procedures in place. They will need to be constantly monitored and modified in the light of experience. [Pg.131]

Since this approach is based on the scientific proof of natural occurrence, the International Organisation of the Flavour Industry (lOFI), Brussels (B), established the Working Group on Analytical Methods (WGMA), which examines published data with regard to the validity of chromatographic (e.g. GC retention time) and spectroscopic (e.g. mass spectra, infrared and NMR spectra) data. In this context reference data, artefact formation and the nature of the source material (i.e. food use) are also considered. [Pg.159]
