Identification of the material properties as an estimation of transfer function (TF) for the black box model. In this case the problem of identification is solving according to the results of the input (IN) and output (OUT) actions. There is a transfer of notion of mathematical description of TF on characterization of the material. This logical substitution gives us an opportunity to formalize testing procedure and describe the material as a set of formulae, which can be used for quantitative and qualitative characterization of the materials. 

Assessment Phase The assessment phase aims to collect data needed to identify and analyze pollution-prevention opportunities. The final element in management s communication of a desire to reduce human error is the identification and elimination of error-likely situations. Every task is an opportunity for a human error, but some situahons represent greater risks than others. Identifying these high-risk situations is not easy and an expertise in applying human factors principles to the workplace is an essential prerequisite for this identification. Eliminating these hazardous situations is often relatively simple once they have been identified. In some cases it may be appropriate to provide error-tolerant systems, which are those that facilitate identification of and recovery from the errors. 

One of the most important elements in the remediation of existing waste sites is early detection and actiom As an example, the cost of cleanup at Stringfellow, California, increased from an estimated 3.4 million to 65 million because of pollutant dispersal during a decade of inaction after the first identification of the problem. The opportunities for innovative sampling strategies responsive to this need are discussed in the following section. 

Students had the opportunity to cany out most of the chemical reactions referred to above in preparation for the quahtative analysis component of the practical examination that involved the identification of several ions and gases. The only other practical experience involving chemical reactions that students would have encountered was when they prepared samples of soluble and insoluble salts in the laboratory using one or more methods previously discussed in class.

One is then able to rapidly identify issues and potential opportunities for elimination, substitution, or control. 

The studies dealing with opportunity of photosensibilized formation of 02 from the surface of deposited oxides were studied in a vial similar to that described in [24].
