Since the CSTWG was founded, the SCWR concept has attracted interest from more and more Chinese vendors and utilities. In March 2009, several institutions within the Chinese nuclear commtmity expressed their strtMig desire, to ccmstruct an experimental SCWR reactor [94]. In September 2009, China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group (CGNPG) annotmced the plan of starting the construction of an experimental SCWR in 2016.
