Noble Gases Argon Ar, Helium He, Krypton Kr, Neon Ne, and Xenon Xe

NOBLE GASES ARGON Ar, HELIUM He, KRYPTON Kr, NEON Ne, AND XENON Xe 

refrigerated bquid [1913] Xenon, non-refrigerated liquid [2036] Xenon, refrigerated bquid [2591]. 

These gases are chemically inert. Therefore, they have no action on aluminium, whatever the pressure and the temperature. Arc welding (TIG and MIG) of aluminium and aluminium alloys is done with argon or helium, or a mixture of both. 

AU these gases can be stored under pressure, at low temperatures, in vessels made of 5083 or 5086. For many decades, gas cylinders made of 2001, 5283, 6061 or 7060 have been used for the storage of industrial gases or respiratory gases for medical use or diving. 

In the absence of humidity, these elements have no action on aluminium. Phosphorus can be stored in aluminium vessels at room temperature and in the absence of air.
