Prior clinical trials have attempted to discern the best manner in which to administer chemotherapy when combined with radiation. It may be given concurrently with standard radiotherapy, an alternating or split-course radiotherapy schedule, or in a sequential fashion as induction (prior to definitive treatment) or adjuvant (following definitive treatment) chemotherapy. Concomitant chemoradiotherapy is the use of both modalities simultaneously. Alternating chemoradiotherapy is the use of systemic chemotherapy for a definitive duration, followed by radiotherapy for a specified period followed by repeated alternations of the two modalities. Split-course chemoradio-therapy usually involves concomitant systemic doses of chemotherapy combined with radiation therapy for a specified duration followed by a rest period, and then the regimen is repeated. This approach allows planned treatment breaks for toxicity recovery. 

To identify comparable non-critical areas, N02 and PM levels and the trend of these pollutants were analysed in cities across the EU. Taking the criteria for non-critical areas into account, Berlin was selected as a comparable non-critical area.7 Other cities or areas which fit the criteria for non-critical areas either have a special emission structure (which eases abatement measures), or they are comparably small, or largely comparable to Berlin with respect to their dispersion conditions or modal split of traffic in several cases the available information about air quality assessment and management is not enough. Therefore, Berlin is the only non-critical area which is discussed here in detail.

The data on the modal split of urban traffic do not seem to be completely comparable (e.g. not all the data cover pedestrian traffic). However, significantly high shares of private cars have been reported for Athens, Paris, Stuttgart, Milan and London (40-50%). Distinctly low shares of private cars have been reported for Krakow and Berlin (about 30%).

Compared to other cities, the modal split of Athens shows a rather high share of private vehicles. Freight transport is also mostly done by road traffic. Even though a ban on private diesel vehicles has been in place since 1992, emissions from traffic are of major importance. The measures proposed in the notification of time extensions and the air quality plan for Athens address the main sources and are aimed at improving public transport. Hence, if these measures are far-reaching enough, if they cover a substantial part of the relevant sources and are implemented in an effective way, a substantial decrease of the pollutant levels can be expected.

Finally, the third dimension splits up the groups B (described as having a break in the line of windows), E (described as small, with small windows, small hood, handsome) and G (described as urban car, hatch, five seats). Acute chest pain is one of the major clinical emergency conditions. Various differential diagnoses have to be considered, some of them are potentially life-threatening. CT assessment for vascular pathologies of the chest can be split up into three major categories. Pulmonary embolism, acute aortic syndromes and coronary artery disease (CAD) require a rapid, reliable and effective diagnostic pathway allowing for an immediate therapeutic decision thereafter. A simple and objective cross-sectional modality should ideally be available on a 24/7 basis. 

It is thus not that I am merely torn between the two opposites, law and sin the problem is that I cannot even clearly distinguish them I want to follow the law, and I end up in sin. In its indistinction/media-tion, the couple is the one of law/sin in the radical distinction of the two, it is law/love. It is therefore wrong to ask the question Are we then forever condemned to the split between Law and love What about the synthesis between Law and love The split between Law and sin is of a radically different nature than the split between Law and love. Instead of the vicious cycle of mutual reinforcement, we get a clear distinction of two different domains. Once we become fully aware of the dimension of love in its radical difference from the Law, love has in a way already won, since this difference is visible only when one already dwells in love, from the standpoint of love. Following the method of Lorenz, one may obtain a quasi-one-dimensional map from successive local maxima Z (w = 1,2,...) of Z t), The result is a uni-modal map as shown in Fig. 7.17. If the prefrontal area is affected by the lesion, both the searches on the sensory and the motor areas are disturbed (showing an prolonged elementary time). This means there is no splitting of elementary times and both modalities are affected. This last phenomenon may be absent if the lesion specifically affects one modality which are differently located in the prefrontal cortex (eg 012A). 

The study tested three modalities of advice (text-only, text-and-audio, and text-audio-and-agent) in addition there was a control group with no advice, resulting in four between-subject groups with 10 subjects each. Following Moreno and Mayer s [17] multimedia design principle (Split-Attention Effect), the audio and text were not played concurrently, to prevent the audio from interfering with text advice.
