Minimum inventory

A very simple method. Whenever this inventory level falls below a predefined value, a fixed lot size is usually reordered. This method was used in the past in file-card planning also for order point planning. Minimum inventory is destined to become scrap inventory. This is why this method is nowadays only suitable or justifiable for

Minimize inventory to the extent feasible. Expected benefits from minimum inventory may be offset by hazards resulting from more frequent and smaller shipments. Fire hazards are minimized by minimum inventories of chemicals. Table 2 resumes the operational results. All solutions present a lower medium flowrate when compared to CLC s occurrences. The DTP solution leads to a pipeline stop (without interfaces) and reducing pipeline usage. CLC verified both high flowrate and positive balance in inventory, increasing the final inventory. Volumes and inventory A lean manufacturing operation carries minimum inventories and aeates minimum waste. The analyses performed demonstrate that the LOCA acceptance criteria are met in the case of the small-break LOCA.
