Other provisions regulate that when editing the Hungarian Pharmacopoeia, the European Pharmacopoeia must be accepted. Environmental rules must be taken into consideration when disposing of pharmaceuticals. Professional information on medicines to doctors amd phcirmacists (advertising to professionals) may be performed only by physicians or pharmacists. Medicine donations to and from Hungary must be authorized by the MRA.

Donor funding for and donations of medicines can have an impact on health in low- and middle-income countries in the short term. In the medium term these donations should be targeted at specific diseases and planned as additional supplies integrated into the national medicines supply system. But in the long term, self-sufficiency is the only viable means to tackle increasing disease burdens.

It is allowed to indicate the name of the company on the objects donated to hospital institutions, but not the name of a medicinal product. 

The donation of articles and services must not be effected in a way that constitutes an inducement to prescribe or purchase the medicinal product. 

With the reservation of the previous paragraphs of the present article, any other grant, offer or promise of any kind in exchange, monetary donation or benefit to people authorised to prescribe medicinal products is absolutely prohibited.
