Incarcerated individuals have a two to four fold greater prevalence of epilepsy, however, a relationship between criminal acts and seizure activity is seldom demonstrated (Marsh and Krauss, 2000). Aggression in seizure-disordered patients is often directed in nature, occurring during the interictal period, in response to a social context, likely related to general brain dysfunction rather than to seizure activity. Therefore, consideration of the social context in which the behavior occurs and of the sociological and biological risk factors is important. 

Many observations on the effects of DDT-oil aerosols dispersed from the ground as a means for controlling salt-marsh and anopheline mosquitoes have been summarized by La Mer et al. (50). The effects of particle size meteorological conditions, various emulsions, time of exposure, and the relationship of the habits of various mosquitoes to the use of thermal generators are given. This report discusses experiments of a pioneer nature.

Iron monosulfides show an antithetic relationship with pyritic sulfur (Table I). The highest amounts of acid volatile sulfides (which remained small compared to S in pyrite) occur directly beneath the marsh sediments within the upper portions of the tidal flat deposits. The high value for iron monosulfides in the upper part of the tidal creek sediments may be related to high rates of sulfate reduction at these depths. 

The review of Marsh and Walker (22) places emphasis upon the relationships between molecular structure and size of resultant optical texture. Certainly, the presence of reactive groups attached to aromatic nuclei, e.g. phenolic, carboxylic and the presence of heteroatoms, all lead to decreased size of optical texture, A principal conclusion of such studies is the difficulty of precise prediction of optical texture for a given carbonizing system. This is because it is difficult to quantify, precisely, for such many and diverse systems being carbonized, the critical balance which has to be maintained between the rate of carbonization, controlled by the reactivity of components of carbonizing systems (to increase the average size of constituent molecules), and the viscosity of the resultant pitch necessary for the movement and orientation of these...

Melaleuca, a genus known by the common name paperbark, yields ornamental timber. The various species of the genus include shrubs and trees which grow in swamps and marshes. The flowers resemble bottle brushes, showing the close relationship between this genus and Calliostemon. With the species of the genus Lep-tospermum, those of the genus Melaleuca share the common name tea-trees. It is from Melaleuca, not Leptosper-mum, that tea-tree oil is distilled.
