Magnesium supplements agent

Patients should receive supplemental calcium and vitamin D if dietary intake is inadequate. Take calcium supplements and calcium- aluminum- and magnesium-containing agents at a different time of the day to prevent interference with risedronate absorption. 

All basic magnesium phosphates find apphcations in plastics as stabilizers. Other than this, monobasic salt is used in fireproofing wood. The dibasic phosphate is a food additive and also a laxative. The tribasic phosphate is an antacid and a nutritional food supplement. The compound also is an adsorbent and a pohshing agent in dental work. 

Absorption Only 35-70% of oral norfloxacin is absorbed. However, 70-90% of the other fluoroquinolones are absorbed after oral administration. Bioavailability is greatest for ofloxacin and lomefloxacin. Intravenous preparations of ciprofloxacin and ofloxacin are available. Ingestion of the fluoroquinolones with sucralfate, antacids containing aluminum or magnesium, or dietary supplements containing iron or zinc can interfere with the absorption of these antibacterial agents.
