Saving macro

A macro supply curve of conserved electricity tor the U.S. residential sector. Key assumptions are given inside the chart. This supply curve shows estimated savings potentials from 304 different measures. The associated table describing the measures is too long to present here, but certain measures with numbers on top of them are noteworthy from a policy perspective. For example, measure 80 is conversion from conventional water heaters to heat pump water heaters. 

The program is then saved under the name RM (ruggedness test macro). 

Figure A.9 illustrates this, where Y is a 5 x 2 matrix, and its pseudoinverse a 2 x 5 matrix. Of course, each intermediate step of the calculation could be displayed separately if required. In addition, via macros (as described below) we can automate this to save keying long equations each time. However, for learning the basis of chemometrics, it is useful, in the first instance, to present the equation in full.

In early spreadsheet programs, a macro was simply a string of keystrokes that could be recorded, saved and repeated to automate a simple keyboard operation. In Microsoft Excel, macros are written in a complete programming language that provides the capability to perform iterative calculations, or to take different actions based on the results of logic functions. 

A macro is part of a workbook, just like a worksheet or a chart, macro, you simply Save the workbook. 

To save a workbook as an Add-In, choose Save As... from the File menu. Choose Microsoft Excel Add-In from the Save File As Type drop-down list box, then press OK. In Excel for Windows, Add-In macros are automatically given the filename extension. xla. 

Some of your macros will be written for a very specific purpose, such as to prepare a specialized report. The workbook containing the macro will be opened only when you want to assemble the report. Other macros automate tasks that you perform often, and you ll want to have them available whenever you re using Excel. These macros should be saved in the Personal Macro Workbook. To make a command macro even easier to use, you can add a custom toolbutton to a toolbar and assign the macro to it. The three macros described in this section — the NumberFormatConvert macro, the FullPage macro and the ChemicalFormat macro — are particularly convenient to use when they are assigned to a button. 

Custom toolbuttons were created for the Full Page Portrait, Full Page Landscape Chemical Format H2O and Toggle Between Floating Point and Scientific macros. The Chemical Format macro is described in Chapter 16. Module sheets containing these macros should be saved in the Personal Macro Workbook.

But that is not all. Often, the corrected macro will refuse to run, and even the macro icon will look funny. In that case, you may first need to reset the macro. You do this, in the VBA editor, with the command sequence Run => Reset or its shortcut, Alt + r, Alt + r. In order to simplify matters and save time, it is often useful during testing and debugging to reset the macro routinely with the sequence Alt + r, Alt + r, F5. 

The above results suggest that the 2.5-D integration scheme again leads to significant saving when applied to mixed standard cell/macro layout style. In other words, the cell area variance will not affect the feasibility of 2.5-D integration. 

The list is not exhaustive, and practitioners will find other procedures that can be helpful. Time can be saved by automating several of the above steps to execute in a predetermined order, using a macro or a subroutine. Eventually an acceptable model and fit will be obtained. This raises the final question. What makes this fit acceptable ... 

Macro Chip Company s new generation of high speed and low power SCM STC12C5412AD is chose as the master control chips of wireless substations and wireless relay stations. The ODAC and VDU-PAC procedures are represented by the bottom boxes but they cannot be called directly by ABACUS 1032 procedures because 1032 can only call integer functions and doesnot support FORTRAN S return codes. It was therefore necessary to write for each procedure a 1032 external procedure and a FORTRAN jacket procedure to ensure correct communications. The ABACUS-ODAC Macro Library is not strictly necessary but it saves much duplication at the 1032 level by, for example, combining into one procedure all the calls needed to find an OSAC record, to manipulate the two screens and to display the structure as required. 

The process is then initiated, each structure is queried, and a set of target ions is created. ChemStation is opened and a macro is run that opens each raw LC/MS datafile and extracts the predicted ion. The macro creates new data transfer text file for each well and places them in a separate EIC-CAPTURE folder next to the existing CAPTURE text files. This EIC process is of critical importance in encoded library quality assurance, and it has saved our chemists considerable effort previously expended on doing these steps manually. 

After the spreadsheet is started with the Macro Code activated, the introductory page is displayed briefly. Then, the Login dialog box appears in which a user name and password must be entered. For students, the user name is student and the password is engineer (which can be altered). When proper entries have been provided, the Save/New dialog box appears in which the user selects either Start New Analysis or Load Existing Analysis and clicks on the OK button. 

The spreadsheet program calls macro SP and the calculation proceeds automatically. Initially the input data is printed and then results populate the cells. Usually at least 500 steps are necessary for a transient duration of ten hours. Once the calculation has been performed, it is advised to answer No to the question Salvare le modifiche ( Save the modifications ) in order to preserve the sample opening page for future use. 

A backup copy of the data files on the computer disk should be made onto a formatted 3.5 in. disk before using the files in any solvent-resin calculations. It is suggested that the Lotus. WKl files be copied to the appropriate spreadsheet directory on the computer hard drive for faster operation of the spreadsheets. The directions needed for proper operation of the spreadsheet are listed at the top of each spreadsheet. Any spreadsheet data and calculations that need be saved should be saved under a different file name. Any solvent or resin/polymer numbers that are typed into the appropriate spreadsheet cells must be listed in numerical order for the lookup function to work correctly. The data files can be used with Lotus 123 Version 5.0 for Windows, Microsoft Excel Version 5.0 for Windows, or any earlier version of the spreadsheet software. Anyone familiar with the use of macros in spreadsheets can undoubtedly automate the operation of some of the spreadsheets contained on the computer disk.
