The car truck is also equipped with a power supply soince, an observation system, control equipment including power automatic machinery and a transceiver (another option is also possible of electric-power transmission using trolley or a rail with pulse-code modulation of steering commands).

For cleaning oil from beaches, farm machinery and earthmoving equipment have been used to good effect. In many cases, a layer of straw is spread across the oil. After a few days, the oil-laden straw is raked onto a conveyor, screened to drop out sand, and sent to wringer. Recovered oil is trucked away to a refinery. The spent straw, which still contains some oil, can be blended with coal and burned in a power plant, or simply incinerated. The separated sand is washed and returned to the beach. 

The main application of the lead-acid battery is vehicles for materials handling, such as forklift trucks, transporters, and so on, inside manufacturing plants and warehouses. Passenger transportation in areas where no pollution from exhaust gases can be tolerated is a further field of application for electric vehicles powered by batteries. Special machinery for lifting, cleaning, and other uses as well as electric boats, golf carts, and wheelchairs use and need the proven lead-acid traction battery.
