Many studies have discussed the anticarcinogenic properties of aromatic herbs and spices (Lee et al. 2006 Thirugnanasampandan and Jayakumar 2011 Berdowska et al. 2013), Particularly mentioned in this respect the main bioactive components present in this family such as phenolic acid (rosmarinic acid, ursolic acid, camosol, caffeic acid, ferulic acid, sinapic acid) flavonoids (Kaempferol and quercetin) or monoterpenes (carvacrol).
