Job selection

To be effective, the creation of a task or modification of a task through the introduction of new processes or equipment should automatically require you to develop a new or revised JHA. Jobs with many steps are usually good candidates. As stated before, you should assign each job selected a priority based on the accident potential and the severity of associated potential injuries.

An assessment centre is not a physical place but is a suite of exercises designed to assess a set of personal characteristics. Their use dates back to the Second World War when the British War Office developed them to select people with officer potential from within the ranks. Nowadays they are used quite commonly in medium to large size companies not only for job selection, specifically graduate selection or managerial appointments, but also increasingly in internal promotion and development of staff for managerial careers, when they are more often called development centres [AS].

To start a calculation, you add a job to the queue by selecting the type of calculation you want to perform, for example, an optimization, in queue-add. Here you can define the job, select the setup (i.e., the optimization setup that can be created/modified in calc-setup) the one or more molecules you want to calculate, the force field you decide to use, and the execution host (the computer where the calculation is to be performed). In this tutorial, we always choose local host, that is, your computer. 

For ease of measurement, the operation should be divided into groups of motions known as elements. An element is a distinct part of a specified job selected for convenience of observation. As for DWA, a job selection is first done either by recalling the work file written previously or a review of already existing work files by referring to the data file name.

Select the right person to observe. The person selected should be experienced at the job and cooperative. If more than one employee is doing the job, select the enqiloyee who will get the most out of the JHA. Be sure to explain what JHA is all about and what you intend to do before starting.
