Bombing of U.S. Embassies in Nairobi and Dar-es-Salaam — On August 7, 1998, 224 innocent civilians were killed and over 5000 were wounded by terrorist bombs exploded at the U.S. embassies in Nairobi, Kenya and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
