With respect to the product stewardship goal of amassing and sharing hazard information, the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) has also noted the contribution of ACC companies, which are all participants in Responsible Care, to the HPV data-gathering effort in the United States [157]. 

With the financial support of the EU, the Industry and Protection Forum was organised in association with the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) and the European Chemistry Council (CEFIC). It brought together representatives from the chemical industry, government, international organisations. National Authorities, national laboratories and agencies, academia, and other institutions that work in the dilFerent fields (verification, assistance and protection, and the safety and security of chemical weapons) that formed the focus of this Forum. 

CEFIC An abbreviation for Conseil European des Federations de I lndustrie Chimique, it is an organization based in Brussels representing around 30,000 chemical companies, which account for about one-fifth of the world s chemical production. Founded in 1959, it comprises corporate, national federation, and business members and has responsibility tor logistics, policy, international legislation, research and irmovation, and means of public communication on chemical substances and their production. CEFIC is a member of the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA).
