Wide-width tensile tests provide a better measure of tme tensile strength than small-width tensile tests. The test data are presented in a load per unit width versus strain curve from which the modulus values (Eq. [7.1]) can be calculated. Creatine kinase, creatine kinase myocardial band Creatine kinase (CK) enzymes are found in many isoforms, with varying concentrations depending on the type of tissue. Creatine kinase is a general term used to describe the nonspecific total release of all types of CK, including that found in skeletal muscle (MM), brain (BB) and heart (MB). CK MB is released into the blood from necrotic myocytes in response to infarction and is a useful laboratory test for diagnosing myocardial infarction. If the total CK is elevated, then the relative index (RI), or fraction of the total that is composed of CK MB, is calculated as follows RI = (CK MB/CK total) x 100. An RI greater than 2 is typically diagnostic of infarction. [Pg.1563]

In other halogen-containing systems, such as flexible PVC and polyolefins, it is preferable to use the zinc borate in conjunction with antimony oxide for maximum performance. In flexible PVC, for example, the zinc borate alone is not very effective in the Oxygen Index test (Fig. 6), but a combination of the zinc borate and antimony oxide (1 1 ratio) outperforms equal weight of antimony oxide at a total loading of more than 10 phr (4). Fig. 103 shows all scenario profits in the one-phase and the two-phase optimization case as well as the sales quantity index the two-phase optimization results do not disperse as strong as the one-phase-optimization. Besides, the worst case scenario is comparably better than the worst case scenario of the one-phase-optimization strategy. The plan is more cautious supply quantities are reduced leading to lower expected profits but better minimum profits in the worst case scenario.
